A Monopod, also called a Unipod, is a pole used to help support cameras (or, less frequently, binoculars). It allows a still camera to be held steadier, allowing the photographer to take sharp pictures at slower shutter speeds, and/or with longer focal length lenses. When used by itself, it eliminates camera shake in the vertical plane. When used in combination with leaning against a large object, a bipod is formed; this can also eliminate horizontal motion.

This Monopod is made to fold, when not in use, allowing to be easily transported and stored do to its light weight.
Unlike a tripod, monopods cannot support a camera independently, limiting the shutter speed that can be used. They still allow lower shutter speeds than hand holding, and are easier to carry and use than a tripod.

Meade 12 Inch LX200-ACF Advanced Coma Free Telescope with UHTC

Meade 12 Inch LX200-ACF Advanced Coma-Free Telescope with UHTC The most widely used research telescope on earth now comes with the most advanced optical system. Meade's LX200-ACF brings Advanced Coma-Free (ACF) optics within reach of aspiring astronomers everywhere. Nearly every observatory reflector in the world uses an aplanatic (coma-free) optical system like the Ritchey-Chretien (RC) including NASA's Hubble Space Telescope. Now you can own optics similar to what the professionals use. The LX200-ACF includes all the field-proven features of the LX200 including GPS Primary Mirror Lock Oversized Primary Mirror SmartDrive™ Smart Mount™ AutoStar II and more. Plus the LX200-ACF comes with observatory-class optics and a Series 4000 26mm Super Plössl eyepiece. The new LX200-ACF: It's the biggest news in astronomy since well the LX200. The "advanced" in Advanced Coma-Free.A traditional Ritchey-Chretien (RC) is a type of reflector that delivers a coma-free flat field of view via hyperbolic primary and secondary mirrors. RC telescopes (from a variety of manufacturers) are found in most of the world's top observatories and NASA's Hubble Space Telescope. Because the mirrors in these telescopes have always been very expensive to make few amateur astronomers could enjoy them. Fortunately Meade engineers developed a radical new Advanced Coma Free design by combining a hyperbolic secondary mirror with a corrector-lens-and-spherical-primary-mirror combination that performs as one hyperbolic element. This ACF design produces a coma-free flat field of view that rivals traditional RC telescopes at a fraction of the cost. The design even eliminates diffraction spikes and improves astigmatism both of which are inherent in the traditional ACF design. When reviewing Meade's LX200-ACF Advanced Coma Free Sky and Telescope magazine said " It does indeed perform like a Ritchey-Chretien.

Zacuto Z-Finder EVF Pro 3.2 inch High Resolution Monitor

Electronic viewfinder consists of a TFT LCD with battery, an EVF Flip model and an optical viewfinder
TFT LCD offers a resolution of 800 x 400 and 16.7M colors
Allows you to operate the DSLR or any camera with an HDMI port, by offering an image as seen by the camera itself
Designed to be attached 'in-line' to your rod system and offers stable and efficient shooting
Ensures correct form factor for the video shooting

The Zacuto EVF is a 3.2" high resolution monitor that is used in conjunction with all the Z-Finder models. The EVF is compatible with all cameras that have an HDMI output including the Panasonic AF-100, Sony F3, RED ONE, RED Scarlet and RED Epic. The EVF allows you to operate the DSLR camera or any camera with an HDMI port, with the correct form factor for video with the camera in-line to your rod system (the most stable way) and your eye in the Z-Finder offset. This is the way all film cameras and ENG video cameras were operated and we, at Zacuto, believe this should be the way DSLR cameras should be operated. It will enhance the stability, give you better resolution, allow you to get your eye where it most comfortably needs to be, enable low mode shooting, shorten your camera package, have your EVF in the back of a dolly or crane, detached from the rig for car shots and more. The Z-Finder EVF Pro is a complete EVF with diopter. It includes the EVF Flip model and an optical viewfinder which will snap onto the frame of the monitor and can flip up 180 degrees. The optical viewfinder contains high quality 2.5x optics with anti-fog shields and a diopter. The anti-fog is extremely important for reducing fog. It will also include extender frames. The Z-Finder Extender Frames allow you to further adjust the focal point of the Z-Finder by semi-permanently stacking the frames via a snap fit onto the skirt of the Z-Finder until the LCD screen is in focus for you.

Baader Planetarium Semi-APO Telescope Filter Size - 2 Inch Semi-APO Filter

Available in 1.25'' or 2'' format
Delivers amazingly neutral views
Cuts annoying violet fringe
Amazing on Jupiter or Mars
High-end Baader quality

Baader's newest addition for Achromat owners. The Semi-APO works like its name implies - delivering an amazingly neutral view, while cutting most of the annoying and contrast-robbing violet fringe that plagues all achromats. The Semi-APO filter combines a stronger Fringe Killer coating formula with the Moon&Skyglow Neodymium substrate. The result is similar performance to the Fringe Killer + Moon&Skyglow combination, but with a slightly stronger violet cut - and at an even greater $ $ value. The Semi-APO filter benefits from all the host of world-class Baader filter attributes. The Semi-APO filter is truly the world's most advanced 'minus-violet' type filter in every regard. Its high efficiency and neutral coloration make it practically disappear in use - while making most of the violet fringe disappear! The effects on sharpness, contrast, and aesthetics are remarkable, even with small refractors. The RGB enhancement of the Neodymium substrate actually boosts color contrasts, particularly for Jupiter and Mars.

As a side benefit, the Semi-APO filter has also proven to be the best Mars filter we've used - with ALL Telescopes, including large Dobsonians, SCTs, and Apochromats. The unique properties that result from the combination of the Fringe Killer's blue wavelength attenuation (attenuation - not total elimination), plus the selective Neodymium RGB passbands, result in a significant contrast enhancement of Martian features. The image retains its natural coloration and brightness, and the optically polished surfaces maintain every bit of the image sharpness, unlike other manufacturers' filters.

The high quality of Baader Planetarium filters permits their use well ahead of the focal plane with no image degradation (ie, for cameras or binoviewers). The inclusion of Baader's renowned UV/IR Cut coatings on the

Good luck finding a value as good as this. Zhumell sought out to find a group of filters that could compete with all the others. We have found them so we decided to put them into a package deal so you can enjoy them all for one great price! Zhumell 2 Inch High Performance O-III Filter This particular filter allows light transmission in the doubly ionized oxygen wavelengths. This is particularly good for viewing double star systems where a lot of emissions are in the doubly ionized oxygen range. Oxygen III (O-III) are great for viewing diffuse and planetary nebulae. The views of the Veil Ring Dumbbell Crescent and Orion nebulae are dramatically improved. Zhumell 2 Inch High Performance Ultra High Contrast UHC Filter These narrowband filters are for viewing nebulae in the deep sky under a dark sky or a sky with some light pollution. They filter out specific wavelengths of light to make a high contrast to make nebulae clearer and more visible where normally we may not be able to see it with our eyes alone. Zhumell 2 Inch High Performance Moon & Sky-Glow Filter This filter increases the contrast of deep-sky objects like emission nebulae and darkens the background sky by blocking mercury vapor light transmissions and enhancing transmission in the hydrogen beta doubly ionized oxygen and hydrogen alpha regions of the spectrum. Zhumell 2 Inch Variable Polarizing Filter #3 35-40% Transmission This filter is perfect for lunar viewing. Dial in just the right filtration for the perfect comfortable view. Like a dimmer switch for your eyepiece this filter makes viewing the bright moon much more comfortable and really brings out more detail and greatly improves contrast. This filter consists of two glass filters that rotate allowing you to adjust the amount of light transmission allowed through the filter.
