This is a safe full aperture solar filter. It allows the most light possible into your telescope, which allows the best possible daytime viewing. This premium solar filter has an aluminum cell that is secured to the tube end of the telescope with three nylon thumb screws. The clear aperture is made with scratch free, high quality, hand selected and inspected, reflective coated glass. The neutral density is 5 - 5.5. The sun is viewed in a natural yellowish-orange image. The filter can be used for direct viewing through the telescope or for photography.
The filter is in plastic and packaged in a sturdy foam lined box, which is perfect for storage when not in use. Included are instructions for care and use of the filter.
